Made this for a pot luck dinner and it was gobbled up REALLY quickly, I barely managed to try a piece for myself. A very nice appetizer.
Vary the herbs to your taste, but the dill and the garlic was nice.

2 cans (8oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 package (8oz) cream cheese at room temperature
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp dried dill weed
1/8 tsp garlic powder
Raw veggies cut in small pieces for topping

Suggestions:
1/2 cup small fresh broccoli florets
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1 tomato diced
1/3 cup diced cucumber
1/4 cup green peppers diced
1/4 cup diced zucchini

Heat oven to 375F. Separate cans of dough into 4 long rectangles. In GREASED 15x10x1 pan or cookie sheet place dough, press in bottom and up sides to form crust
Bake 13-17 minutes or until golden brown. COOL completely, about 20 minutes
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, dill and garlic powder until smooth and fluffy.
Spread over crust. Top with veggies. Serve immediately or cove and refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving. Cut into small squares, cut each square in half diagonally to make triangles.

The crust is baked and then cooled. I'm sure the crust you use is also cooked otherwise it would be pretty sticky, lol.

This looks delicious 🙂 you should try to make some zucchini bread! I had some while I was in the hospital after my son was born and it was so yummy. I think you'd do excellent with it!

You should add partially cooked onion and garlic, mushrooms, and a little green onion.

@pernilleac I guess that depends how you look at it. The cream cheese and the crust has quite a bit of fat in it, but it does have some nice fresh raw veggies on it. Pretty much all food is okay in moderation.

@finding13emo We do have the rolls of puff pastry, and sometimes you can buy the crescent rolls in sheets as well.

do you guys not have a rolls of puff pastry or shortcrust pastry by jus-rol ? it just seems a bit odd to go to all the trouble of connecting the crescents

@kiggiteee You could use the frozen pizza dough and I bet it would be fine. The crescent rolls have a bit of a flakier texture though.

This looks great, and I can't wait to try it.
But I was wondering, instead of using the crescent dough and having to connect all the pieces, can you just use the pizza dough that you get in the freezer isle?
