    I'm pretty sure that the tasty recipes have started saving my life. Just the transition for cooking at home and taking the left overs to work I've already lost 5 lbs in less then a week. Haven't eaten any less. Just differently I know the weight loss will slow down. But you never realize how much junk you eat until you start picking half decent meals to cook.

    My aunt bougth fermented mushroom and rice saucsage from somewhere. Dang! it tastes just like fermented pork! (Actually it's called Naam, a kind of fermented meat in Thai cuisine)

    Uh… contribute to plastic waste much?! What a ridiculous amount of plastic. It would be better for the environment to kill a bunch of animals and use their intestinal lining to make these not-eco-friendly vegetarian sausages. I’m very disappointed.

    What an unbelievable waste of an enormous amount of plastic wrap. You can't keep making "earth friendly" videos when you do stuff like this, you either are for the planet or you're not, not just when it suits you.

    Coming from a country where a huge population has been vegetarian for generations where it's cultural.. you can grow up never seeing meat around.. the sight or smell of meat is repulsive and the idea of eating meat is as repulsive as it would be to an American person to eat a dog.. we think of all animals as Americans think of dogs.. all have emotions. We would never like our veggie food to remind us of meat in taste or texture.

    ok, I tried these. First of all: you need way more flour to get it to the shown consistency. The wrapping part is horrible (I used cooking-safe cling film). In the end they looked amazing. I made them a little bit longer so they look more like the meaty original. The best part is that they can get super brown and crispy on the outside when you heat them long enough in the oil. They literally looked like super brown german bratwurst. But the taste is not worth the effort: you don't taste the apple,there is just a little bit of fennel, mushroom and a lot of flour.
