Just purchased a spiralizer on Amazon (one of those lightening deals I couldn't ignore, lol). Found this video to get ideas prior to its arrival. Loved the video…very informational. I never would have had the imagination to try some of those things in the spiralizer. Can't wait until my new purchase arrives. Thanks for this great video! I only hope it's half as easy as you make it look. 😉

Do you have to peel the sweet potato? Is the skin is too tough for the blade?

For a single meal serving size, for a Spag Bol say, or a Garlicky Chickeny Tomato based pasta sauce. How much veggie noodles do you need to cook. Did I even say that right? Would I cook say 1 x 6" (medium sized Carrot) & do you tend to need more of the softer veg like Courgette (that one was hee-YEW-ge!) Do they cook down more than the firmer? Total newbie here sure you can probably tell. Lol.

Not sure if you have a recipe for this but carrots make a great "fake me out" pulled pork bbq sandwich. I thought that was nuts but then I tried it and I sort of love it.

Ciao Lisa! I'd like to ask your opinion about something I have came to think, after buying a spiralizer for my Kenwood Cooking Chef machine. The coned spiralizer might be good only for long vegs like cucumber/daikon/courgettes…but not for onions/peppers/apples like the less appealing by hand ones…what would you say? Apparently the electric ones look better, but not sure they are..in terms of cutting all these different shaped vegs/fruits. Thanks, if you can find time to share your opinion with me!

Do the blades ever get dull? If so, where do you get replacements??? Also, is it a pain to clean the spiralizer?? Also, where did you buy the gloves from??

A great use for cores and the little chunky ends etc, just bag and freeze and use later in soup stock.

If any Color of the Vegetables stay at the Plastic, there are two ways to remove them. Put a little bit Oil on a Kitchenpaper and clean the Plastic with it, before yo wash it.

The other way ist pretty easy. Store it for a few days close to the Window. The Sun will remove the Color.
Works with any Color on Plastic

Just a tip to spiralizer fans, save the left over vegetable ends in a container in the freezer- the next time you need to make vegetable stock you will have a big chunk of the prep done.
