Welcome to our cooking series, “Everyday Inspiralized” with Ali Maffucci, the founder of Inspiralized®. Ali will be cooking some of her favorite spiralized meals that can be incorporated into your everyday – easy, simple, comforting dishes that are light on the hips but absolutely flavorful- and made with the Inspiralizer®, the kitchen tool that turns veggies and fruits into noodles!

In this episode, we are making our Spiralized Sweet Potato Fried Rice. This healthy, spiralized version of fried rice using spiralized sweet potatoes that have been pulsed into rice-like bits instead of, well, “regular rice. There’s something about the sweetness and texture of the sweet potatoes that make this highly nutritious version of fried rice a hit. I make it all the time in the winter – it saves well for work lunches and is totally customizable. Top it with shrimp, chicken, pork, or amp up the protein the vegan way, with edamame or tofu.

I was so skeptical, bought ingrediants and made it the second day. WOW! Tastes great! I replaced the peas with red bell pepper, and used Panda Express Stir Fry Sauce instead of soy sauce. Came out Amazing!I love it!

This is great! I don't like the cauliflower flavor much so I never thought of using sweet potato! Thank you!

You're supposed to make a very thin egg omelet in the beginning and set it aside then you roll it up and you cut it into thin strips and added into the rice that is already cooked and Ready-to-Eat. You can also scramble the eggs but it is always done first.

At end …add a drop of sesame oil and also you can use sherry after cooking egg for more flavor 👌

Thanks for quick reply I have only riced cauliflower , jicama, but the broccoli stems would be nice, I freeze my centers for soups. My dog would eat as she loves green beans and cherry tomatoes, which she picks herself if I didn't have a fence around them, thanks again wonderful job.

Ali, I have one of your books, so am glad to finally find your videos, which encourages me to start doing more spiraling. Can you you substitute any riced vegetables for rice in any reciepe. Love your videos. I am trying deconstructed zucchini manicotti for dinner.

I have had a problem with my Spiralizer tearing up the sweet potato, onion, or potato with its round toothy end. I cut the end off a couple of times, wasting the potato for this recipe. Saved the cut off part for something else. Ideas on how to keep the toothy holding piece from doing that? It is frustrating and I gave up and hand turned the potato.
