This video gives the recipe for a traditional home made. South Indian snack It can be prepared with very few ingredients and that too in less time!A perfect dish for those evening cravings!
Rice flour 1/2 cup
Buttermilk 2 cups
Salt
curry leaves a few
Til/seame oil 1 Tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/4 Tsp
Urad dal 1/4 Tsp
Hing/asafoetida a pinch
Dry Curd Chillies/Red chillies a few
Green chilli 1

    In Telugu we call it uppidipindi .
    We add equal quantity of water to flour and it becomes podipodi

    Hi mam nice one my mother used to make it
    only difference is she used to add turmeric and it's consistency
    we used to make the balls and dip it in oil and eat

    Greta ji we Gujratis make this n call it khichchu
    N we eat with oil or ghee n mathi masala
    It’s saved from receip of rice papad preparation so we don’t give tadaka it’s steamed or pressure cooked with jeera n crushed chilly….I love it
