Moong Dal Dosa (Pesarattu) – Indian Vegetarian Breakfast – Recipe by Foodie’s Hut #0198

Moong Dal Dosa or Pesarattu is a high protein low carb South Indian Vegetarian Breakfast. Green Moong Dal mostly used in Bengali cooking for Tadka Dal recipe. This Green Moong Dal Dosa recipe is one of those I often make for our Breakfast! With a little bit of planning, we can enjoy a savoury, warm, delicious protein-packed vegetarian Breakfast all the time.

Hope you enjoy this recipe, here is the ingredients list:
Pieces: 4-5 Dosas
For Batter,
1 cup whole Green Moong Dal
2 green chillies
2 inch Ginger
1 tsp cumin
⅛ tsp Hing
Ghee for frying the Dosa
Salt to taste
For topping,
¼ cup Chopped coriander leaves
¼ cup Chopped onion
2-3 Chopped green chillies

    Moong Dal Dosa or Pesarattu is a popular Breakfast of Andhra Pradesh! I often make this high protein low carb South Indian Vegetarian Breakfast and pack for husband's lunch box with coconut onion chutney! I also pack this Dosa in my daughter's lunchbox drizzle some maple syrup on top!
