I wanted to experience this for myself and after 3 weeks of testing it OFF of social media, I decided to share my journey online. There is not much information or varied recipes on a vegan keto diet, so I hope my videos will inspire more people to eat a more plant based keto (instead of the heavy animal based keto diet).

    So I just came across this video and it almost just sold me on keto, even though I've hated the idea of it for so long, haha. I'm not sure if you were tracking before, but if so are you eating the same calories per day now, or fewer? How low fat were you eating before? And, most importantly, what mascara do you use?! Your lashes look great!

    How do you track your macros? That seems to be the most tedious part to me and I'm not sure I'd be disciplined enough to do it!! My dr just told me today he wants me to try keto to help bring down inflammation and possible endometriosis that I might have (you don't know until you look inside the body with a camera and I haven't done that yet!). I told him I'm willing to try it to get pregnant with our rainbow baby, but he knows I won't touch animal products so I said I'd try it vegan. Your videos are so helpful, thank you!!

    You are my hero. i have 3 kids and i have never done that the fact that your vegan and a mom of three what a great accoplishment. I was vegitarian for 10 months and thought it was hard but i am going to try again tell i get it right. You are an inspiration to every mom out there this is the third video i watched of yours

    Upping the omega 3 ratio, flax, chia, sacha inchi, greatly reducing nuts and sesame seed, eating more greens, and eating low starch grains, ie, quinoa rather than potatoes, helped me a lot. I know this sounds drastic, but it was worth it as I was pretty sick.

    I'm currently on week 4 and I'm starting to feel the benefits! And definitely way less cravings! Once I get fat adapted (they say it takes around 6 weeks) I'm planning on adding "carb up" days or cheat days sometimes. Maybe once a week or once every two weeks just to make this more sustainable longterm. A lot of people do one day per week when they have things like fruit, brown rice, sweet potatoes, beans etc. and then the rest of the days they're vegan keto. That's going to be my plan after I get fat adapted. With the occasional junk food cheat meal here and there. And when I travel I won't be keto. That's personally how I'm planning on making this a more longterm thing because it's honestly one of the only diets where I'm seeing good results in my weight and health overall

    I get those aches/headaches whenever I eat wheat. I discovered this after doing a vegan paleo-ish diet. When I added wheat back, the joint pain came back. I do okay with oats and corn, but I limit those, too. Most of my carbs are from fruit and starchy veggies.

    Although it's not keto super low in carbs, there was at least one study about the Eco Atkins diet where those vegans eating low carb, higher protein, higher fat…did REALLY well.

    Love it !! I have been on Keto (vegan of crouse) for a week now and in first 4 days i noticed so many changes (all positive). I lost almost 9lbs of water weight in first 5 days and all of my bloating was gone. I feel like i felt when i first went vegan from a standard meat eating diet, so much lighter and energetic. I am inspired to cook more and make different food, i feel in control and i am never hungry. Its amazing!
