    Those are not egg rolls. They are southwestern chimichangas. I'm sure they taste great, but the title is misleading.

    Fried tortilla is called chimichanga people. Egg rolls is something different. Although this recipe is a good one 👍

    I make these all the time, even got some catering jobs out it even though I'm not a chef/caterer lol, if u can't wait for them to freeze or u don't wanna bake them, while rolling then put a little warm water around the border of the tortilla where it seals and lay them on the sealed part when frying, they won't come part. Also use pepper jack cheese, it gives it more flavor and use canned diced jalapeños, fresh one don't cook quick enough and unless you cut them to super tiny pieces, you can taste them separate from the roll.

    Made this for Cinco de Mayo and the were amazing. I put some leftover pork roast in it instead of chicken and I used a flour paste to close them up. It was a big hit with the family. Will definitely make this again.

    Wouldnt it be better if you season the chicken and cook it afterwards? then you can deglaze the pan with the vegetables for extra flavoring. Also, putt8ng the seasoning in a vegetable and meat mix does not allow for the spices to fully develop their flavor…
