How can you watch Earthlings and only become a vegetarian? Vegetarianism is no better than meat eating. The whole documentary shows that ALL animal products are cruel. All dairy cows and egg laying hens are killed for their ,eat in the end. making vegetarianism 100% pointless.

She kind of went backwards. She’s a pescatarian now, and she posts on Instagram some sushi. I think she should just try out veganism. There’s some good vegan sushi out there.

I am vegetarian/vegan also. Husband is a big carnivore and so are my three cats. I wish they were vegans …esp after watching a cow cry before being slaughtered out of overwhelming fear. Or the last video that did me in….watching a baby goat cry and chase her dead mother being dragged behind a car.

TOO MUCH! It breaks my heart the level of suffering poor animals are subjected to. I can't watch any more videos or think about it too much because it will give me serious PTSD.
It took a lot of research to do it right and make sure I had everything set up to be successful but I am so happy I did. Stocking up on meat and cheese substitutes is really essential for becoming successful. Same with finding really good, simple vegan meal and shake recipes.

My favorite animal rescues I donate to: Viktor Larkhill (youTube), VetRanch, Animal Aid Unlimited, and Mercy for Animals.

HUGs and thank you for making this video.

I've been a vegetarian since I was six. Not kidding. I just found out about "the animals" then and cried all the time when my mother cooked meet (which was only like 2-3 times a week). She was really understanding thought and asked me if i want to stop eating meat. I'm 20 now and still a vegetarien but now not only because of the animals.
I'm happy for having such an understanding family <3

I have been trying to go vegan since June 2016. It has been hard for me.
I absolutely do not eat cow boos or pigs, eating beef feels as sacrilegious and ick as eating the pony I had as a kid and eating pigs makes me feel similar to cannibals. I don't see it as food at all. It is a lot harder to avoid chicken and fish because 1. they don't always taste disgusting the way cow and pig now do 2. chicken does not create the environmental issues that beef does 3. It is SO hard to avoid chicken/dairy when you don't have a lot of money and go to fast food places etc. 4. It is harder to empathize with these animals sadly. Also 5. Monthly sushi indulgence lowers head solemnly

    I feel bad about it.

    How I became vegan:
I was on the fence for ages but one day my mum had cooked lots of salmon. I noticed that I hadn't eaten meat in a few days and decided to see how long I could go without it so got my own dinner. After a few weeks I went vegan and I have never eaten any animal products since

I made the promise to watch it all the way to the end and I did. I was in shock, like, I couldn't move for a minute. I still have tears in my eyes and my head is still kind of fuzzy. OH MY GOD!! D':

Hi Jaclyn 🙂 Interesting video, however I had a question… Would you ever consider veganism as a next step? I personally don't like "rating" cruelty because all animal exploitation is cruel, but the milk and egg industry is arguably more cruel than the meat industry because the cows and hens are tortured for a few years more than an animal that is just being used for meat. Again, I hate that I said that hehe but I would love if you could get back to me about what you think. Thanks!

On the off chance that any militant vegetarians or vegans will read this. I have a question for you. Are you militant on this issue because you feel that humans have it so good on this planet and thus this issue takes priority. Or are you militant because you are unaware (or maybe don't even care) about how horrible things are for some humans on this planet?

Coming from an Indian family, it's easier to be vegetarian but quite difficult to be vegan. It seems like they're all obsessed with yogurt and getting their dairy in and they try to convince me eat it, its only been a few weeks of avoiding dairy and yet my parents still get annoyed that I'm not eating diary

You should go vegan If you've watched earthlings, you should know that the dairy and egg industry is cruel as well 🙂 The "small scale" farms are still cruel because they kill the animals eventually

I had a physics teacher that gave me extra credit to watch earthlings all the way through.  I still eat meat.  I know how animals have to be slaughtered so I can eat them.  I don't give a fuck.  I don't eat humans lmao.  humans have been eating animals for survival for 100,000s of generations.  and so am I.  the human body craves meat if you dont' eat any for some time.  same with vegies.  our bodies crave what it needs if you listen.  probably not logical but that's how I feel when I go along time w/o meat or vegies.  love ur video's jaclynglenn.  keep up the good work.
