    In transitioning I feel that eating cheese is a easier way to cut out meat. Then slowly cut down cheese…

    I’ve been vegetarian for like 2 years now. Idk if I could ever go vegan, but I basically nearly am. My only problem is that I will still eat stuff if there is milk, cheese, etc in it. I won’t eat any cheese or milk alone so yay I guess lol

    Very helpful. I’m sort of doing this for personal/spiritual growth. (Its complicated) but I don’t really want to share my choice with the people around me, I mean is there worse peer pressure then those that are avid alcohol consumers? Why yes, yes indeed. I believe I can glide under the radar and even my husband won’t really notice that I’ve eliminated animal protein from my diet. We are older, and eat out A LOT, since it’s just the two of us.
    I find myself getting in a rut by only eating salads, and the type of sides that come with carry out. My goal is to have a wide variety of go to recipes so I can just coast along without much ado.

    Why not giving up on dairy products if you know it's not good ? I don't get it. Go vegan. Cheese kills just like meat.

    Dose anybody choose this lifestyle for health benefit or is it all about the. Poor animals or the greedy companies. I'm considering going vegetarian probably not vegan. Bottom line is. I could give a fuck about the animals or the corporations. It just seems like every video I watch about the consideration of going vegetarian. Everyone's gotta be some idiot activist. With this " don't hassle me maaan" attitude. Oh! I don't mean this video. I think the girl in this video is helpful and informative. She is beautiful aswell. But the comment section is hilarious. You people sound like the same people. Commenting on conspiracy theory videos. Waaay out in left field. Hahaha I'm simply looking to transition from a meat based diet to a plant based one

    I get plenty of calories just from the wrong places…sweets. Therefore, I eat too much sugar and burn myself out by afternoon. I have been eating more of the processed vegetarian meats lately too…definitely not enough veggies…I was on a roll but fell off and let me tell you yesterday my iron fell so low that I was so tired by late afternoon I could barely put sentences together. I take an iron supplement, the daily recommendation but I'm not sure I'm absorbing it. And I hate taking my adderall more than once a day, I avoid as much as possible because it keeps me from sleeping well and makes me grumpy. Maybe I really should try going vegan and try to go the non-heme route. I just can't envision a life w/o chocolate.

    Also, the things with cheese is, that not every cheese is vegetarian. That's why it's important to check the ingredients before eating it.

    my food is so bland without meat… ive been a vegetarian for two weeks and i miss the flavor it adds to the veggies, my meal feels complete. tofu and beans cannot subsittute that flavor of meat. ughh

    How can you say cheese is bad for you ? Actually it is a great source of calcium and protein! With vitamins like b12. Of course it is higher in fat so shouldn't be eaten all the time

    Heres what TO DO: don't substitute the word MEAT for FLESH. "meat" is a euphemism for what is really the flesh of other sentient creatures, designed to create an illusion. Keep it real,call it flesh..and never devour it again!
