RECIPES:-

Soy Chunks Pulao:

40g Nutrela Soya Chunks soaked in warm water and drained (properly squeeze out all the water from the chunks)
1 onion sliced finely
1.5 tsp ginger-garlic paste (preferably freshly crushed)
10g peas
35g rice
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder

Dry spices
3 dry red chillies
1 bay leaf
2 cloves
2-3 green cardamom

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pressure cooker and add dry spices once oil is hot. Add in onions and turn heat to medium high. Fry onions till golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till raw smell disappears.

Add soy chunks, saute for 15-20 seconds.. Add salt, cumin powder and coriander powder.

Add washed rice, peas and water. Cover with a lid and allow to cook for 1 whistle on high flame + 1 on low flame. Once whistle subsides, check to see if all the rice is cooked and all the water has disappeared. If required, cook on medium flame till water has evaporated and rice is cooked.

Mustard Paneer Tikka:

For the marinade (add to a big bowl):
2 tsp mustard (preferably Indian Kasundi Mustard)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1.5 tsp ginger garlic paste
0.5 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
Mix marinade & keep aside.

Dice 125g Paneer (preferably low fat, NOT malai or full fat paneer) into 2” cubes.

Coat thoroughly with the marinade – be careful not to break the paneer. Set aside for 20-60 minutes.

Preheat oven or non-stick pan. Cook paneer on either side till golden.

Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.

    Also, I was wondering if you could make a video on how to calculate the number of calories I should consume. There are times when I feel like I'm eating more than I should, which is probably why I struggle to lose weight.
