Crispy Roasted Chickpea Recipe for Vegan Snacks

These crispy roasted chickpeas are super flavorful and a great high protein high fiber snack. Prepare them in advance and carry them around as an inexpensive healthy protein and fiber source. They are also great for sweet, sour, spicy, and crunchy cravings.



1 15.4 oz can chick pea (drained very well)
1 tbsp olive oil
chili powder
garlic powder
ground ginger


Preheat the oven to 400˚F or 200˚C.

1. Season the chick peas with salt and pepper. Mix very well.

2. Add in ginger, chili powder, garlic powder, and cinnamon. Mix very well.

3. Pour in 1 tbsp olive oil and mix very well. Season salt and pepper one more time and mix.

4. Pour the chick peas onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 40 min or until crisp.

Enjoy with a cup of wine if you desire.
