Chickpeas are probably my favorite legume to use as an ingredient in so many different applications. This chickpea salad vegetarian recipe is so easy to make in just minutes, and you dont even need to cook to make it lol. Chickpeas are a great source of vegan protein perfect for those looking to increase their protein intake while eating vegan recipes.

    I MADE THIS 6/7/18
    this is what I did below came out TASTY & GREAT!!!

    INGREDIENTS….purchased @Walmart

    *2–16oz CANS BUSH'S CHICKPEAS…drained & rinsed.

    *1/2 ENGLISH CUCUMBER…medium chopped.

    *2 large ROMA TOMATOES..medium chopped.

    *1/4C CILANTRO or More per your taste …chopped (I didn't chop it, I like whole leaves, I use quite a bit)

    *‎1/2 med size RED ONION..chopped almost finely.

    *‎4 Tablespoons Lime Juice.. or per your taste. (I used 4tbsps)
    Realime 100% Lime Juice 15oz bottle at walmart, they also have 100% Realemon 15oz bottle as well.

    *Dash of Black Pepper..or per your taste…(I didn't use any)

    *‎SALT… per your taste
    I used jane's krazy mixed-up original Salt mix.

    *1/8 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes…or per your taste…this stuff is SPICY. (I like the heat)

    *4 Tablespoons Bragg's Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil…..it can be OVERPOWERING. so add slowly.
    I used 3 tbps….cuz a little goes a long way.

    😱THIS RECIPE IS VERY FORGIVING, you can add or minus any ingredients, TRY a touch of shredded carrots, bell peppers, fresh jalapeno peppers, black olives, avocado, etc….

    Salad must be very good in taste thats no doubt. But one suggestion would like to add for everyone benefits ,dont eat cut pieces of cucumber and onion, that to keeping in freez thats not at all healty choice of eating foods.
