Open For Recipe & Important Info & Stuff:

These bars can be a healthy addition to a well planned whole foods vegan diet – that includes plenty of whole carbs, protein & good fats -with a big emphasis on the omega 3s! (& some vegan pizza just cuz). Plus I surprised myself at just how damn good these bars are straight out the freezer 😜..

* Also about the nuts/dairy in school part! Yes, I know kids can go into anaphylactic shock from nut allergies (& should be banned) – just wanted to state I think dairy should “also” be banned too because it’s gross imo lol xx

Ingredients: (I actually made way too much to fit in my small pan so I had left overs to make more with this amount!)

– 3 cups of whole rolled oats
– 2 cups of smooth almond butter
– 1 & a half cups of grated carrot
– 1/4 cup crushed raw pecan nuts (or walnuts)
– 1/4 cup ground flax
– 1 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1 cup of desiccated coconut
– 1/2 cup of maple syrup
– 1/2 cup sultanas, raisins or dates
– I used 1 TBSP of coconut oil to help them set (don’t need to do this, skip it if you want them to be “pure” lol).
– mix well & squidge down hard into a lined baking pan (have no idea of the dimensions of mine!)
– leave to set in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
* These are Much better straight from the freezer so I would advise to store them in there! But if you want them softer then fridge will do (just don’t leave them out!)

    hey dude love ur stuff. just wanted to say the nut ban thing is annoying, we have it here in aus too, but I get it. kids do silly and sometimes nasty things and considering how severe a lot of but allergies are its understandable to keep nut products out of schools. i knew a kid growing up that was so allergic she couldn't be within a meter of the stuff and when she was little another kid got near her with PB amd she almost died and like they did it because there was so many incidents and kids have legit died so I guess they've figured better safe than sorry. dairy is trash and shouldn't be fed to children but for very different health reasons. anyway awesome videos man keep it up.

    I'm also a tennis player, and I have a plant based diet, but I still eat meat, eggs and stuff like that and I feel good with it.
    I have to say that I was very surprised when I found out that Novak was vegan, actually his brother told me that, so it must be true. And Novak is one of the fittest people ever, and I'm sure his diet has a lot to do with that.
    One day I may try veganism but right now I think I love meat to much to do it.πŸ™„
