Hi there Mae I ova been vegetarian now for 9 months and I am loving it, but I am wanting to go Vegan but the reason is that it is very hard where I live and our family doesn't have a lot of money but one day I am hoping to become vegan because the causes of why I became vegetarian are the same reasons to why I want to become vegan but it takes a while

I love these videos!! Reminded me that it's time to kick back and rewatch these documentaries. I've been vegetarian for 4 years and last year I was vegan for 9 months. I became very under weight and went back to vegetarianism. But I'm back and educated and I am ready to become vegan again.

This was a great informational video…thanks Mae! I'm still in the "Vegan want-to-be" stage (mostly because of my family), but am cooking a lot more vegetarian/vegan everyday. My family is coming around! It is a process, but very doable and so worth it.

Could you do a video on how you get the necessary nutrients when being vegetarian? Because I really want to give vegetarianism a shot and I have before for a week and it felt great, but I need to know what I can eat to get the nutrients I need especially foods that will keep me full.

Thanks for sharing these films. I added them all to my to watch list and started tonight with Cowspiracy, very interesting and backed up what I'd watched in a different documentary last year, and then also watched Earthlings – OMG! :'( I Knew it would be distressful, but I wasn't quite mentally prepared for the heart wrenching brutality. I cried and had to avert my eyes many a time – a very thought provoking documentary I feel like everyone needs to see, to at least be aware of the reality. I have been contemplating veganism for a while now, having already made some swaps in my diary already, I wasn't sure whether to take the plunge, but after this documentary I will definitely be reassessing my lifestyle and implementing more changes, how could I watch that and not become vegan?! who would I be?! Thanks for inspiring! xxx

Cowspiracy was the first big eye opener for me, followed by Forks Over Knives and Food Matters. Food Inc was also a massive eye opener and showed scenes about how the animals were treated. I want to try and watch Earthlings…

I haven't seen Unity or What The Health. Definitely on my "to-watch" playlist now! Earthlings is a hard one to watch, but it definitely drives the point home. Don't think Ive ever cried so much during a movie

I live in the south where meat is something we live for. I've been watching vegans on YouTube for years but never really wanted to go vegan because the way most vegans acted ( freelee, sorsha, vegan gains etc) but you and Kate are the most down to earth people. So a month ago today I've been vegetarian. It's so amazing how much energy I have. ❤

Just curious why you chose to call the series going vegetarian instead of going Vegan? No judgment just curious.

Xaaaahhhhhh I got unsubscribed! Luckily you showed up in my feed anyway! I'm back to being a proud sub. And I'm impressed. This was totally pro Mae. Literally out of all of the Veg promoting vids I have watched this was the most professional and non-threatening way of delivering this very important message. You don't alienate 👽 ppl. You just present it in an easily digestible format. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you!

Your right we do have the power to stop the slaughtering by how we spend our dollar and its crazy that there are no federal regulations on the slaughtering of animals. It is hard to get people you are older to go vegan because they don't see anything wrong with what there doing for example my grandparents because they have been eating animals products there whole life and aren't overweight and think there perfectly healthy.

I have seen forks over knifes and loved it. Have been wanting to watch earthlings and cowspiracy but need someone to watch earthlings with because someone said it will make me cry. Also does earthlings show how butchers slaughter organic meat because I have heard that the animals are killed differently from the conventional meat?

Becoming vegetarian seems to suggest one wont eat meat, but may allow dairy and eggs.  Whereas becoming vegan would suggest one will only be eating fruits, nuts, grains and vegetables.

I have watched all of these except unity, earthlings and what the health which will now be on my list to watch! love this series I have been meat free for 2 weeks now..i never liked meat it was more processed stuff I would eat I live in Canada we have no good health grocery stores like trader joes etc or places that are vegan or vegetarian and produce in the winter is awful and limited and expensive so it sucks..i find it hard to come up with things to make because I have a picky almost 8 yr old son who wont eat any veggies but cucumber…and a boyfriend who refuses to not eat meat or dairy and I'm the one cooking all the meals for them so I basically have to buy and cook 3 separate things all time not to mention my mom who says..how are you going to get your protein!!??…also I see this diet of keto which people are loosing so much weight on..i personally need to loose about 60 lbs but all they do is eat meat and dairy it grosses me out and is not helping with vegans and vegetarians who are trying to save the animals!
