Baked Rhubarb Delight | August Cooking | Vegetarian Recipe | Dessert Recipe | How to Cook

In this video I show you how to make an old time recipe. Baked Rhubarb Delight has a wonderfully sweet citrus flavor that will make you smile with delight. Rhubarb is packed with nutrients including vitamin C and calcium. This has a lot of sugar in it, so I wouldn’t call it healthy, but even gardeners get sugar cravings! Thanks for watching and I hope you try this super easy recipe.

Ingredients:

3/4 to 1 lb. of Rhubarb

Β½ cup of sugar

ΒΌ of water

Whipped Cream

How to prepare:

Cut washed rhubarb into 1 in. pieces. Place pieces in a baking dish. Heat water and sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved. Add sugar water to rhubarb pieces. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350F; stir a few times. Chill mixture once it is done cooking. Plate and top with some whip cream. Enjoy!

August, you have such a pleasant demeanor and your recipes are so straightforward that you make me interested in foods that I even do especially care for. This was brilliant. If I can figure out how to grow this, I may do it just for my daughter, who love rhubarb, Thanks for this!

Nice! I LOVE rhubarb and appreciate this wonderful recipe! The colour of the finished rhubarb is stunning! And here's one you might appreciate, my friend Steve Owens just did a video featuring a recipe for whipped cream made with coconut milk!
