Hispanic vegan meals or as non- Hispanics like to say Spanish vegan dishes. We had all Puerto Rican meals this week. Here is a list of what we ate.

    Please add more vegetables to your meals and don't mix potato salad with rice and plantains that's too much carbs. Choose one or the other with vegetables 🙋😋 steamed or raw.

    The Sopa de Gandules reminds me of Sancocho… is it the same thing ?? My abuelita used to make sancocho when I was a kid and I miss it sooo much. Your sopa de gandules looks very similar to her sancocho.

    I had to stop using sazón because it gives me horrible migraines. But remembered that my grandma always used olive oil with achiote seeds. U must know about this they use it to put it on the pasteles to keep them from sticking to the paper or plátano leaf. Anyways I use a lil bit of that oil to give some coloring to my food and that’s all. no need for all the seasoning as u already have the same seasoning in the adobo
