In this video I show you a sample day of eating high protein meals as a vegan 🙂

Remember these are just examples and what works for me. I recommend things I love to use and share my experiences. Please take what is useful from my videos, if you avoid foods high in sodium, sugar, soy, gluten, or anything else… then make adjustments to fit your needs 🙂 I am going to continue to eat vegan foods I enjoy and that work for me and my lifestyle.

Please give these videos a thumbs up if they are helpful/useful to you and I will be sure to make more ! I will be doing a fitness update soon, please subscribe so you won’t miss out on that if you are interested !

A Vegan Doctor Addresses Soy Myths and Misinformation

Soy — Food, wonder Drug, or Poison (Dr. McDougall)
“We recommend that you use traditional soy foods, like soy milk and tofu, only as a small part of your diet, at most 5% of your daily calories. “Synthetic soy foods,” like meats, cheeses, and soy bars, should rarely, if ever, be consumed.”

How Much Soy Is Too Much? (Dr. Michael Greger)
“To maintain the low IGF-1 levels associated with a plant-based diet, one should probably eat no more than 3-5 servings of soy foods a day.”

I think it's important to track your macros or calories in the beginning of any diet or lifestyle changes, but once you do it for a while you can just do it all in your head and listen to your body and save a lot of time. FYI our Costco sells organic frozen blueberries if organic is really important…Walmart sells some really good frozen fruit blends as well in bulk.

Soy will destroy your thyroid. Many foods are goitrogenic (thyroid
suppressing), but soy is king of them all. Goitrogens work by preventing
your thyroid from getting the necessary amount of iodine. Friends, I
believe this is what happened to Oprah’s thyroid. She pushed soy for
years, featured it in everyone one of her “healthy” diets, and it
destroyed her thyroid. If your thyroid fails, what happens? You gain
weight. You have a harder time regulating your moods. You get colder
more easily. You’re more easily fatigued. You demonstrate an inability
to concentrate and remember details. The list goes on. You simply don’t
want to mess with your thyroid.

How do you eat so many beans? Do you have any trouble digesting them or staying regular? I feel awful if I eat more than a couple tablespoons…

Love your channel! Lots of great vegan fitness ideas and info. Have you heard of Intermittent Fasting? Lots of fitness folks and bodybuilders are implementing it as it has proven to have great benefits – It's just fasting for 16-20 hours, and have an eating window for 4-8 hours depending on your fitness goals and schedule to get all your daily caloric intake for the day. It's life changing.
